Course Aim (Goal):
This course will provide Training Managers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to consistently perform the development of a TPM and maintain its validity in compliance with ICAO provisions contained in Annex 1 to the Chicago Convention and ICAO Doc 9841, Manual on the Approval of Training Organizations, in addition to applicable States’ regulations
Target Population:
Primary Target Population
- Training Manager, Instructors, Course Validators, Course Developers, Quality Managers, and Other Managers in a training organization
Secondary Target Population
- Personnel of training organizations, such as aviation safety inspectors, in addition to Technical Managers in CAAs.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, trainees will be able to:
Maintain the validity of the TPM of an ATO
Analyse the framework of the TPM to design
Organize the appropriate outline and content for the draft TPM
Entry requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Training Manager, Instructors, Course Validators, Course Developers, Quality Managers, and Other Managers in a training organization
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as personnel of training organizations such as aviation safety inspector in addition to Technical Managers in CAAs.
Delivery requirements:
The course will be conducted in a training room with:
- Flipcharts and markers
- Projector and screen
- Whiteboard
